Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Motion Academy LLC ("Motion," "we," "us") collects, uses and shares information when you use Motion Method AI at motionmethodai.com (the "Service"). It should be read with our Terms of Service.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: your name, email address and password (stored only in encrypted, hashed form by our sign-in provider).
- Your business content: what you enter or create in the Service, such as your Attractive Character, stories, Customer Avatars, products and offers, memories, hooks, projects, documents, chats with the AI coach, sales practice sessions, and community posts and messages.
- Uploads: files, documents, photos, and audio or video you upload. For photos, the date and place a photo was taken may be read from the photo on your device and saved with it so you can sort and group them.
- Voice recordings and transcripts: if you upload audio or video to build a voice profile, we create a transcript of it.
- Support and feedback: what you send us when you contact us.
Information collected when you use the Service
- Usage and billing records: credits used, features used, and records of AI requests (amounts and costs, not a separate copy of your content).
- Technical data: basic log data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, kept by our hosting providers for security and reliability.
- Cookies: we use essential cookies to keep you signed in and secure your session. We do not use advertising cookies in the app.
Information from others
- Payments: Stripe tells us whether a payment or subscription succeeded and gives us limited details (such as the card brand and last four digits). We never receive or store your full card number.
- Apps you connect: if you connect Google (Gmail, Calendar, YouTube), Instagram, Facebook Pages or Stripe, we receive the data those connections allow, only when you choose to connect them and only to provide the features you use. Access tokens are stored encrypted.
2. How we use information
- to provide the Service, including generating AI coaching, content, ads, emails and other output for you;
- to run your account, membership, trial, billing and credits;
- to send you service emails, such as your welcome and sign-in emails, billing notices and important updates, and (where allowed) emails about getting the most out of the Service, which you can opt out of;
- to provide support, keep the Service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems;
- to understand how the Service is used so we can improve it;
- to comply with law and enforce our Terms.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
3. How AI is used
When you use an AI feature, the relevant content (for example, your message and the parts of your Brain the feature needs) is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to produce the result, and the result is sent back to you. We use providers' business APIs, which do not use your content to train their public models under their commercial terms. Some features may search the public web to answer your request. If you use audio or video transcription, recordings are sent to our transcription provider to create the transcript.
4. Who we share information with
We share information only as needed to run the Service, with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract:
- Supabase — database, sign-in and file storage (United States);
- Vercel — website and application hosting;
- Anthropic — AI processing;
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing;
- HighLevel (Go High Level) — our customer relationship and email system, which receives your name, email and plan to send your welcome emails and member communications;
- Deepgram — audio and video transcription, if you use that feature;
- other apps you choose to connect, which receive what is needed to perform the action you request.
We may also share information if required by law or legal process, to protect the rights, safety and property of our members, the public or Motion, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets (in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information). Content you post in the community or share with teammates is visible to those people.
5. How long we keep information
We keep your account and content while your account exists. If your membership ends, we keep your content so it is there if you come back, unless you ask us to delete it. You can delete items in the Service at any time; deleted files are removed from storage. You can ask us to delete your account and its content by emailing us. We keep billing records and other records we are required to keep for as long as the law requires.
6. Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encryption in transit, encrypted storage of connection tokens, and database rules that keep each member's workspace private to that workspace. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password.
7. Your choices and rights
- Access, correct, delete or export: you can view and edit most of your information in the Service. To request a copy of your information, or to have it corrected or deleted, email us.
- Marketing emails: you can unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email. We may still send you service and billing emails.
- Connected apps: you can disconnect any connected app at any time, and you can also revoke access from that app's own settings.
- State privacy rights: depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, such as the right to know, delete or correct personal information, and to not be discriminated against for using these rights. We will respond to verified requests as the law requires. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows.
8. Children
The Service is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. International users
We are based in the United States, and your information is processed and stored in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If a change is material, we will let you know (for example, by email or in the app) before it takes effect.
